I Am Giving My Dirt Bike Away for the Price of a T-Shirt!

Hey guys, I can't begin to describe how excited I am about this little project. A couple of months ago, I had the idea to do something really cool with a dirt bike after I'm finished with the full review. Normally I sell them at a loss and move on. I have been doing this for about 3 years, and it's been okay since I'm making a little money back on YouTube ad-sense, Patreon supporters, and the affiliate links for parts.
This time around I wanted to try something different. The thought occurred to me, what if I give the bike away to one lucky person? At first it sounded crazy since instead of taking a $1500-$2000 dollar loss on the bike, I'd be taking the full amount as a loss (many, many thousands of dollars). At least it might generate some buzz online, right? That could be good, right? I wrestled with that thought and then had another. What if I were to sell some t-shirts as a way to enter the drawing? That could help stem the bleeding. After talking to a lawyer, selling something for the opportunity to win also seemed like the best way to make sure I'm not engaging in gambling! Of course this would mean I'd also need to make sure there was a way to enter this "drawing" for the dirt bike with out making a purchase, so I set up a mail in entry option too.
After engaging a lawyer to draft up the official rules for the giveaway, having them draft a winner's "contract" for the dirt bike, and also talking to my accountant, I knew I had a legal "promotion" on my hands, and the wheels were set in motion.
The promotion, or drawing for the 2017 Sherco 300 SE-R kicks off on July 1st 2017 and lasts until the end of August 2017. If all goes to plan, I will select a random winner for the list of entrants on or around September 1st or 2nd. I plan to announce the winner on Labor Day 2017.
Thank you, you guys are awesome.
It would be great to have a bike again! I loved riding dirt bikes. I hope to again one day.
